Top Parties to Welcome 2024!
If you’re already thinking about New Year’s Eve, well, so are we! There’s just something about the holiday season that we love, and New Year’s is no exception. We wanted to track down the best parties for you, no matter your mood. We have glitzy parties, family friendly events and, of course, sports!
Starting off with a fancy party that brings the views, Crystal Ball Minneapolis is throwing an amazing party on the 50th floor of the IDS tower. Tickets include dancing, a glass of champagne at midnight and multiple rooms of entertainment. A few more dollars will get you access to the VIP room with hors d'oeuvres and a sing-along piano bar. What song would you request?
Moving on to a more outdoorsy party, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is hosting a NYE bash as well. Walk through the Arb’s winter lights, enjoy family-friendly games and live music! There’s a photobooth to document your time and countdowns start on the hour at 5 pm if you’re hoping to get to bed before midnight.
To the sports! Even though Minnesota sports continue to break our hearts, you’ll still find us cozying up on Sunday afternoons to watch the Vikes. Speaking of, they play the Packers on NYE, with a kick off time of 7:20. Tickets to the game are sold out, but this is a great excuse to stay in and celebrate the new year from your couch. Skol Vikings!
A classy option for NYE can be found at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. With three shows to choose from, there’s something for everyone and you’ll enjoy a special dinner menu as well. Will you pick Jersey Boys, a vintage night in Vegas or Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret? Seems to us there’s no wrong choice.
And last, if you’re hoping for something to do with the kids that still involves regular bedtimes, head over to the Minnesota Children’s Museum. With a countdown to noon, dance party and admission to the museum, there’s a lot to celebrate as a family. The aptly named Sparklerama is on Saturday the 30th so you can start celebrating early!
Tell us, where will we find you for New Year’s Eve?
