This is more of a tool than an activity, but we find it so helpful! The MN fall color finder is a helpful source put out by the MN DNR, this color coded map helps you stay up-to-date with the state’s leaf colors. Plus, they link to state parks and trails to help you plan phenomenal hikes.

Visit New Ulm’s Oktoberfest and Grape Stomp

New Ulm calls itself Minnesota's most German town, and they do Oktoberfest in a big way. Other Minnesota cities join in too, with celebrations in Waconia, New London, Deerwood, and beyond. And don’t forget the grape stomp! It was voted best Fall Event in Southern Minnesota by Explore Southern Minnesota.
