Patio Perfection: Our Favorite Spots

Patio season is upon us, and while the recent rain may have temporarily dampened our love of an outdoor eating and drinking experience, we’re ready now to enjoy the fleeting Minnesota summer!

We rounded up a few of our favorite, unique and updated patios so you don’t have to dig for the perfect spot, just check out one of the below:

1. Red Rabbit on Grand and Red Cow in Minneapolis both updated their patios and opened them this week. The upgrades include more privacy, fresh paint, updated decor and new pergolas. Add a delicious burger or cocktail and you have the perfect date night or setting for a friend hangout

2. Apostle Supper Club - this cute spot is right across from the Xcel Energy Center and features a patio inspired by a 1960’s Palm Springs supper club. A piano lounge inside and tiki bar outside with fun drinks means you’re guaranteed to have a good time!

3. Bad Weather Brewing Co - If you’re a fan of a bit of adventure (at least when it comes to your beer), Bad Weather Brewing Co is a great place to go. Featuring an ever-changing selection of brews, a lovely, plant-covered patio and a taproom, you just can’t go wrong!

4. City House - With a beautiful patio overlooking the river, downtown St. Paul and Harriet Island. Bike racks are provided and the location is right along a bike trail. Pedal over, grab a drink and enjoy the view! 

5. The Howe Daily Kitchen and Bar - We couldn’t leave out our four-legged friends. The Howe is one of the most dog-friendly spots and features a “Pawtio” for furry friends to enjoy a treat alongside their owners (a separate dog-friendly menu guarantees you can spoil your pup).
