Fun fact: one of our listings was recently featured in the Star Tribune! This was such a unique home, we thought we’d take a moment and tell you a bit more about it here on our blog as well. Our own Rob Glynn was the listing agent, and said the home, on Norfolk Avenue in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul is “an architectural gem.”

What makes this home a unique gem? It’s partly the thoughtful, Danish minimalist design, which incorporates lots of wood, light and natural elements. The minimal design allows every inch of space to be used, meaning cabinets easily hide clutter and the light wood floors and large windows make the home glow with natural light.

The previous owners, Jayme and Phillip Hanson, did much of the designing themselves, but also brought in the experts from K Nelson Architects. They were able to add more space to the home during their remodel and also craft the space into exactly what they wanted and needed.

Jayme and Phillip have now purchased a large piece of property that includes a ski chalet. They say they’re ready for the next challenge and project, and we can’t wait to see what they create!
