Hi I'm Lindsay Guentzel, VIBE Realty's Director of Marketing!

Hey. Hi. I’m Lindsay. I’m the director of marketing at VIBE Realty. Perhaps we’ve already met at an event. Perhaps you know me from the Internet. Or in real life. Maybe you don’t know me at all. Whatever brought you to this post, thank you for stopping by.

Besides being my introduction to VIBE’s community, it is also our VERY FIRST blog on our website which is incredibly exciting. My goal over the next few months is to create content you can connect with -- if it happens in your house or around your house, we’ll cover it. Plus we’ll be diving into the communities we live and work in and sharing stories that matter to us.

When I sat down with Rob and Steve back in March to talk about this opportunity, I was enamored by their passion for not only real estate but working with people. It was addictive and energizing and I jumped at the opportunity to join their team. No, I’m not a real estate agent and as of right now, I have no plans of becoming one. But I love homes. I love design and decor, I love cooking and DIY projects and most of all, I love connecting with people.

Deciding to leave my job in news wasn't easy. But I knew I needed an opportunity that filled me up every day. That might sound cheesy -- I get it -- but when you are digesting every news story that comes your way, it can be emotionally exhausting. I want to share things I’m passionate about. And the environment that’s been created at VIBE Realty was exactly what I was looking for -- a community of like-minded individuals who just want to do good things, be good people and have fun.  

A little about me. I’m a Minnesota girl, born and raised. I love living here. My boyfriend John and I live in Crystal in a sweet little home with our dog and cat. When we’re not knee-deep in a house project, we like to take out the boat, try new restaurants and spend time with our family and friends.

I love to run, especially around the lakes or down Summit. I’ve completed three marathons and am training for my fourth attempt at Twin Cities Marathon in October. I also really really really love cooking and I share the recipes I develop on my website. Dream job? To be the messier, more fun version of Martha Stewart -- without the jail time.

I started working in media in 2007 and have worked at a ton of places in town -- KFAN, FOX Sports North, WCCO Radio, Minnesota United FC. My work has appeared in The New York Times, on ESPN, FOX & MLB Network and I’m regularly featured on KARE11, FOX9 and KSTP.

I couldn’t be happier or more excited about this opportunity and I hope I am able to connect with all of you in the near future. The next chapter at VIBE Realty looks bright and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.
