After a long hibernation (due to a Minnesota winter paired with COVID-19), we’re all feeling a little restless and stir crazy, understandably so. It’s been a whirlwind of a year and who isn’t ready for a fresh take? The start of spring has always been celebrated as a time for new beginnings — and we can’t think of a better approach for the coming of the new season here in the Twin Cities. At that, we’re commemorating some of the incredible new businesses sprouting up against all odds in both Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Make sure to get out there, welcome them to our communities, and spread some “Minnesota-Nice” with our support. We’ve highlighted a few below.

There’s truly no neighborhood in the Cities that’s more hip than the North Loop (quite literally - Forbes magazine called the North Loop “One of America’s Best Hipster Neighborhoods.”) It’s one of the most vibrant and walkable areas, known for it’s good mix of history and gentrification. We left off last month pleading for warmer weather, and it appears mother nature finally had the volume turned up, because we are getting it! In the first week of March, we have three days, yes THREE, that look to be in the fifties, with one of those days hovering around the sixty degree mark (checks pulse). While we'll have to wait until next month's recap to see how the warm weather plays into the spring real estate market, the numbers for February are hot off the press, so let's dive in shall we?

We're going to start with the tamest differences that we can compare to last month's numbers. First off, Days on Market. This went down, again, but only by one day. While that's not a drastic change from January, it is a full 50% lower than where it was…
